The Long Green Volunteer Fire Company is proud to congratulate LGVFC member Joel McCrea on his induction into the Maryland State Firefighters Association Hall of Fame.

Joel was honored this morning during the awards ceremony at the Maryland State Firefighters Association’s annual conference in **Ocean City, Maryland**.

He was selected for this prestigious honor from among numerous nominees in recognition of his many years of dedicated service to his local community, Baltimore County, and the State of Maryland. Throughout his career, Joel has served in both operational and administrative roles, making a lasting contribution to the fire service and the organizations he represents.

Joel has served as President of the Long Green Volunteer Fire Company (LGVFC), as President of the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighters Association (BCVFA) for two terms, and as President of the Maryland State Firefighters Association (MSFA). He continues to dedicate his time and experience by serving on numerous committees within all three organizations.

His commitment to the fire service and to the communities he serves is an example of outstanding leadership and volunteerism.
